The eye-catching yellow dial creates an instant visual impact, its flat surface providing a clean canvas for applied rectangular hour markers with rich texture and dimensional presence. A glossy glass bezel insert replaces the traditional metal inserts of previous models, adding a premium feel and introducing a captivating play of light. The Seiko 5 shield sits proudly at 12 o’clock, flanked by luminous hands and markers treated with Seiko’s proprietary LumiBrite for excellent low-light visibility.

Movement & Performance

At the heart of the SRPL87 beats the proven Caliber 4R36, a 24-jewel automatic movement offering approximately 41 hours of power reserve. It features both hacking seconds for precise time setting and manual winding capability, giving you full control over your timekeeping. The day-date display at 3 o’clock adds everyday utility, while the exhibition caseback lets you admire the movement in action.

Case & Build

The 42.5mm stainless steel case maintains the familiar SKX proportions with a 13.9mm profile that wears comfortably on the wrist. A curved Hardlex crystal protects the dial, while the unidirectional rotating bezel with its glossy glass insert provides reliable elapsed-time tracking. Water resistance to 100 meters ensures confidence during swimming and water activities.

Strap & Comfort

The black silicone strap delivers all-day comfort with sporting flexibility, recalling the original SKX’s rubber strap heritage. The pin buckle closure provides a secure and adjustable fit, while the 22mm lug width offers plenty of aftermarket strap options for personalization.
