The Seiko 5 Sports SSK019 is a U.S. Special Creation in the SSK GMT lineup, designed around the familiar SKX-inspired case form. It delivers a genuine GMT function using Seiko’s 4R34 caliber — a modified 4R36 fitted with a dedicated GMT hand that reads a second time zone from the bi-color 24-hour bezel.
The 42.5mm stainless steel case is paired with a stylized five-row jubilee bracelet secured by a tri-fold push-button clasp with safety lock. Hardlex crystal protects the charcoal gray dial with blue and red accents, and LumiBrite coating on hands and indices ensures legibility in low light. An exhibition caseback reveals the automatic movement.
The 4R34 automatic movement offers manual winding capability, hacking seconds for precise setting, and a 41-hour power reserve at 21,600 vibrations per hour. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters. Day display is replaced by the GMT complication.
